Digging up the Back Lawn

Despite our best efforts to keep the Bittersweet at bay, we lost the battle with many of the bushes and a few of the trees. Our best option was to rip out anything the Bittersweet touched, and plant again. The trees come in next week (whew).

Getting the Sunfish Seaworthy

I didn’t thoroughly clean the sunfish last Fall, and left to sit over the winter, it needed some major polishing. Using a sander, I buffed off all the crud from last Fall, and patched and polished the bottom. This photo shows the polishing half done, giving a before-and-after feel. The sea is a dirty place…
